BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 23. Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Austria was around 21,000 tons worth $81.9 million, during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2023), Trend reports.
As reflected in the report of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the non-oil trade between the two countries for the reporting period increased by 4.9 percent in value, while decreasing by 66.7 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, in the same period of the last Iranian year, Iran’s non-oil trade with Austria stood at nearly 63,000 tons worth approximately $78.1 million.
The main goods traded between Iran and Austria included various agricultural and food products, copper, furniture, various types of equipment, electric motors, spare parts, various types of industrial products, etc.
During the 4th month of the current Iranian year alone (June 22 through July 22, 2023), the trade turnover between Iran and Austria amounted to 5,400 tons worth approximately $27 million.
Overall, the value of Iran's non-oil trade turnover was $35.4 billion within the first four months of the current Iranian year.
