Israel, Jerusalem, 9 June / corr. Trend R. Abddullayev/ Israel came to firmer rhetoric and demands the Western and American allies to counteract fundamental Iran, if necessary, through arm. The Head of the Israeli Government, Ehud Olmert, who was on a visit to the USA last week, said that the measures against 'worldwide exporter of terrorism and fundamental dictatorship' are not efficient and should be toughened up. In response, the USA states that it is not prepared for a war and hopes for diplomacy, nevertheless it needs to ensure security.
Tehran has repeatedly promised to 'wipe Zionist regime off the face of the earth' and now, patience of Tel Aviv finally runs out. Israel calls on the world public to finally cope with Iran. The Israeli Prime Minister said that all the anti-Iranian economic and political sanctions did not yield any results. Accordingly, it needs to deal with 'worldwide exporter of terrorism and fundamental dictatorship', who wants to seize the power in the region, in a severer manner, even through arm. "Iran's ignorance towards international resolutions, continuing tactics of deception and denial provide much grounds for necessity of more serious and severe measures," Ynet news agency citied the Prime Minister.
Formerly the Patriarch of the Israeli policy, President of Israel, Shimon Peres, stated that 'the the actions of the extremists always follow words. I can not imagine how the heads of the UN member-countries may make such a statement'. According to Peres, it is impossible to reconcile with it, Iran can not stay amongst the UN members.
Recently the Foreign Minister of Israel, Tzipi Livni, made a threatening gesture to the address of Tehran. During the meeting of Knesset's commission for international affairs and defence, Livni said that Iran should understand that the military operations against it have not been removed from the agenda. The Foreign Minister highlighted the necessity of immediate measures against Iran's nuclear program. "Time will determine all these."
"The weakness and indecisiveness may be interpreted as preparedness to reconcile with the aggressive moves. In our region it is like this: you beat a hooligan in his own premises without thinking about it too long or you join him, there is no third option," she said. Livni also touched upon the problem of mobilization of the international support for the fight by Israel against nuclear ambitions of Iran. "We explain all that it is necessary to make difficult decisions not at the moment when Iran will provide itself with appropriate technologies, but now without delay," she said.
Recently the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rise negatively assessed the prospects of military intervention of Washington. According to the State Secretary, the international community does no need to look for additional diplomatic weapons of pressure on Iran. According to Rise, the true diplomacy 'is not synonym of talks', but in the future Washington may begin full dialogue with Tehran, but not sooner than Tehran finally gives up its nuclear plans.
It is worth mentioning that, at present, the problem is not that the Bush Administration does not wish to speak to Iran, the true problem is that why Iran does not wish to speak to Washington. Though the White House considers 'government of Iran dangerous', the Republican administration believes in the power of sanctions. "Tehran has susceptibilities, we can and must take advantage of these susceptibilities," Rise said and added that she meant 'the unsuccessful economic policy', indignation of the neighboring countries and disadvantaged Iranian population.
I belong to those people who believe in what say the political leaders. When the President of Iran says that he wants to annihilate Israel I believe in him. Now I can see the real problem. The experience of the recent history should be remembered - the Sudeten. The German minority in Czechoslovakia demanded the joining of Sudets to Germany. But the West believed that it is not terrible. And then Hitler understood that it is possible to do whatever one wants. And a reckless scheme with Hezbollah in July 2006 is a test, touchstone for Iran. But Iran did not expect such a sharp reaction from Israel...
