Investigation in respect of several persons accused of an unauthorized action, which was held on April 2 in Baku is being completed.
The criminal case against them will be completed and transferred to the court in the coming days, deputy prosecutor of Baku, the head of the investigation group Fazil Hasanaliyev told Trend.
He said on the fact in connection with these events, a criminal case was filed under article 233 (organization of actions that contribute to disturbing public order or active participation in such activities) and 315 (use of violence, resistance with application of violence against a government representative) of the Criminal Code.
According to the criminal case, the investigation involved 14 people as defendants.
Hasanaliyev said two of these persons - Ulvi Guliyev and Ahad Mammadli are accused under articles 233 and 315.1, and others under 233.
The necessary evidences are collected with regards to the organizers of crimes and other individuals involved, said Hasanaliyev.
As a result of forensic examination, a conclusion was made that during unsanctioned rally, damage was inflicted to 13 facilities in amount of 4,344 manat, police cars - 8,744 manat, civilian vehicles - 1,915 manat, institutions affected by the disruption of transport route - 5,265 manat.
Upon the conclusion of forensic examination, during the events, 24 police officers and one civilian person has suffered health damage.
