BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 7. Azerbaijan's turnover through new generation cash registers exceeded 12.27 billion manat ($7.2 billion) from January through July 2024, up 10.1 percent compared to the indicator of the same period last year, Trend reports via.
Data from the State Tax Service under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy shows that more than 99,690 new-generation cash registers have been installed in trade and service facilities.
Their installation has been carried out in stages since the second quarter of 2019.
To note, the turnover through new generation cash registers almost reached 22 billion manat, or $12.94 billion in 2023, which is an increase of 14.2 percent.
