ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 8. In order to increase the availability of air travel and stimulate the development of domestic tourism, QAZAQ AIR has launched subsidized flights to Kazakhstan's Turkestan starting from January 4, the flights will operate on the Kostanay-Turkestan route and from January 13, on the Karaganda-Turkestan route, Trend reports.
According to the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, flights from Astana to Turkestan are also planned to begin on January 13.
On the Kostanay-Turkestan route, flights will be operated twice a week, on Mondays and Saturdays. The cost of the subsidized, socially significant flights is 31,000 tenge (approximately $58.90) one way.
On the Karaganda–Turkestan route, flights will be operated twice a week: on Mondays. The cost of the subsidized flights is 20,000 tenge (approximately $38.00) one way.
On the Astana–Turkestan route, flights will be operated twice a week. The price of a one-way ticket will be 17,000 tenge (approximately $32.30).
Note that children under 14 years old receive a 50 percent
discount when purchasing tickets for subsidized flights.

accessibility of interregional air traffic in Kazakhstan and the
