BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 15. Azerbaijan's turnover via innovative cash register technology grew this January.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy shows this figure amounted to 2.2 billion manat ($1.29 billion), up 16 percent over year.
As of now, a whopping 104,491 new-generation cash registers have been rolled out in trade and service facilities across the nation.
To note, the State Tax Service continues to implement new generation cash registers in the country. The use of new-generation cash registers allows for more transparent settlements, prevention of illegal circulation of goods and ensuring circulation control.
