BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 6. A total of 107,001 new-generation cash registers have been installed in Azerbaijan as of now.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy shows that the turnover recorded through new-generation cash registers from January through June 2025 amounted to 12.7 billion manat ($7.47 billion), which is 11.5 percent or 1.3 billion manat ($760 million) more than during the same period in 2024.
The use of new-generation cash registers has contributed to increased transparency in transactions, prevented the illegal circulation of goods, and ensured better control over turnover.
