Azerbaijan to Be Familiar with Ireland’s Regional Development Experience

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The experts of the Azerbaijan Economic Development Ministry will pay a visit to Ireland on 17 September within the framework of the European Union's program pf 'Assistance to Regional Development in Azerbaijan'. The visit will take place with assistance of Irish GDSI Limited, according to the Ministry.

The purpose of the visit is to become familiar with Ireland's achievements in regional development and an exchange of experience in this field.

Within the framework of the week-long visit, employees of the Economic Development Ministry will hold meetings at Ireland's Community and Rural Affairs Ministry, the Agency for Development of Export and Enterprises (Enterprise Irelanda), the consultative council on national policy in innovations, technology, science, trade, enterprises at FORFAS, the industrial production department at IDA (Industrial Development Agency), and the centre of small businesses, and will hold a presentation of 'Policy and Initiatives of Regional Development' at Shannon Development.
