The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has increased the forecast on economic growth in Georgia. IMF Representative in Georgia Edward Gardner reported that the current economic indicators allow the fund to revise forward-looking indicators and predict the four-percent growth, 'Business Courier' reported.

However, economic default in Europe will not impact Georgia, although it will be difficult to attract investment from Europen countries, Gardner said.

Economic Development Minister Zurab Pololikashvili has recently announced that Georgia has managed to overcome the major economic difficulties and the country embarked on the path to recovery.
