Kazakhstan's passenger cars export to countries outside of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to $63.5 million over the period from Jan. Through Aug. 2020, Trend reports with reference to the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Kazakhstan’s passenger cars export to Tajikistan amounted to $772,259 over the period from Jan. Through Aug. 2020. During the reporting period cars of Kazakh manufacturing were exported to Azerbaijan, Latvia, UAE, the UK, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and France.
Thus, Kazakhstan’s cars export to Azerbaijan and Latvia amounted to $14,387 and to $344,222 respectively.
During the reporting period, Kazakhstan has also exported passenger cars worth $468,639 to UAE, worth $18,596 to the UK, $108,516 to Turkmenistan, $153,301 to Turkey, and worth $61.5 million to Uzbekistan.
In turn, Kazakhstan’s passenger cars export to Ukraine amounted to $145,721, whereas to France – to $43,047.
A total of 42,498 passenger cars were manufactured in Kazakhstan over the first nine months of 2020, which is 42.4 percent more than during the same period of 2019.
In turn, passenger car production in Sept. alone amounted to 5,062 cars, which also is 18.8 percent more than in Sept. 2019.
The total volume of Kazakhstan’s trade turnover amounted to $55.6 billion over the period from January through August 2020 which indicates a decrease from $63.1 billion during the same period of 2019.
Kazakhstan’s export amounted to $31.8 billion during the reporting period of 2020 ($37.7 billion in the same period of 2019), whereas imports amounted to $23.7 billion ($25.3 billion in 2019).
