In Turkey oil import in June 2013 is reduced by 23 per cent in comparison with previous month, and constituted 1.5 million tonnes, Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) report stated on Wednesday.
According to the report data, oil import in Turkey during the first half of 2013 reduced by 4 per cent compared to the same period of 2012, and constituted 7.9 million tonnes.
Import of diesel in June reduced by 11 per cent and constituted 792,000 tonnes, in January-June 2013 import increased by 6.4 per cent compared to the same period of 2012- up to 4.4 million tonnes.
Export of gasoline from Turkey in June 2013 decreased by 15 per cent compared to previous month and constituted 205,000 tonnes, export of fuel for ships - 32 per cent - up to 110,000 tonnes. Export of aviation fuel increased by 3 per cent - to 252,000 tonnes.
In the first half of 2013 export of gasoline from Turkey decreased by 1 per cent compared to the same period of 2012 and constituted 1.2 million tonnes. Export of aviation fuel for the specified period increased by 11 per cent and constituted 1.1 million tonnes; export of fuel for ships decreased by 33 per cent and constituted 437,000 tonnes.
