BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 10. More than 19 million tons of goods worth approximately $10 billion were exported from Iran’s Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) in Bushehr Province (southern Iran), during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2022), Managing Director of the zone Sakhavat Asadi said, Trend reports referring to the zone’s website.

The director noted that the value of exports from the zone for 9 months increased by 50 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.

“Currently, a number of steps are being taken in the direction of preventing the sale of raw materials and exporting final products with the operation of start-up companies in the zone. As a result, large amount of income will be generated,” Asadi added.

There are a number of companies, including South Pars Gas Company (SPGC) located in Iran’s Pars Special Economic Energy Zone. Various products, including crude oil, gas condensate, methanol, propane, butane, light and heavy polyethylene, ammonia, sulfur, styrene and others are exported from this zone.
