BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. Azerbaijan exported over 228,230 tons of oil and oil products to Greece from January through July 2024, which is 1.55 percent of total Azerbaijani exports of raw materials, Trend reports.
According to calculations based on data from the State Customs Service of Azerbaijan, this indicator decreased by 51.95 percent (by more than 246,740 tons) year-on-year.
Azerbaijani exports of oil and oil products to Greece in value terms amounted to over $144.8 million in the reporting period, which is 50.53 percent less compared to the same period last year.
To note, Azerbaijan exported a total of 26.047 million tons of oil and oil products in 2023, which is 0.09 percent more than the figure for the same period last year (26.024 million tons). In value terms, oil exports exceeded $16.2 billion, which is 16.64 percent or $3.2 billion less than the figure for the same period in 2022.
