The Azerbaijani IT Computing has supplied telecommunications equipment made by the U.S. Juniper Networks to two banks, IT Computing CEO Miraga Nagiyev told Trend.
According to Nagiyev, the equipment was tested today at the Standard and VTB banks, which already expressed a willingness to buy the equipment.
"The Azerfon-Vodafone and Azertelecom companies also expressed a desire to purchase routers and networking equipment," he said. "The question concerns solutions allowing problems to be addressed related to network capacity".
Earlier this year, Juniper Networks introduced three new solutions for mobile operators, which are aimed at addressing traffic optimization and the simplification of mobile network structure, as well as ensuring a smooth migration from 3G to 4G and LTE-networks. The first solution, Juniper Traffic Direct, addresses the problem of rising mobile traffic due to smartphones, netbooks and notebooks. The second solution, Juniper Media Flow, optimizes mobile and wireline networks for the fast and efficient transmission of video and multimedia data, allowing television quality to be achieved when working with smartphones and other mobile devices. The third solution, Juniper Mobile Core Evolution, is a secure mobile packet network based on open infrastructure that allows chargeable 3G and 4G services to be deployed within a single network.
