Kazakhstan ups oil output

The volume of oil production in Kazakhstan in January-September 2017 amounted to 54.091 million tons, which is by12.9% more than for the same period in 2016, reads a report of the Statistics Committee of the National Economy Ministry of Kazakhstan.

During the reporting period, gas condensate was produced in the amount of 9.926 million tons (more by 10.1% compared to the same period of 2016), natural gas - 39.163 billion cubic meters (more by 15.8%) and coal - 79.934 million tons (more by13.6%).

Roughly 51.8 million tons of oil was exported during the reporting period,.

Kazakhstan is a participant in the OPEC + agreement to reduce oil production. Earlier, Kazakhstan increased oil production forecast for 2017 from 81 million to 85 million tons.

The release of gasoline in Kazakhstan amounted to 2,346 million tons, which is 6.1% more than in the same period in 2016.

In the reporting period, kerosene was produced in the amount of 209.600 tons (a 2.5% decrease in production compared to the same period of 2016), liquefied propane and butane – 1,732 million tons (+ 15.6%), gasoil – 3,401 million tons (-3%), fuel oil – 2,350 million tons (+ 5.5%), ferroalloys – 1,454 million tons (+ 8.8%), flat products – 2,21 million tons ( -4.6%), refined lead – 112,100 tons (+ 10.3%), zinc – 244,600 tons (+ 0.1%) and refined copper – 310,700 tons (+2, 9%).
