TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 23. The total volume of cash receipts in Uzbekistan reached 605 trillion soums ($47.1 billion) from January through September 2024.
According to the data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, this figure indicates a 27 percent growth compared to the same period in 2023 (476 trillion soums, or $37 billion in January–September 2023).
The share of terminal receipts in total cash receipts amounted to 41 percent, while the share of cash inflow reached 59 percent.
In particular, the total volume of terminal receipts amounted to 248 trillion soums ($19.3 billion), while the cash inflow volume reached 356.9 trillion soums ($27.8 billion) from January through September 2024.
Meanwhile, the volume of receipts through payment terminals in Uzbekistan reached 209.3 trillion soms ($16.3 billion) from January through August 2024.
