TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, December 3. Trade between Uzbekistan and the United States has reached $726.9 million from January through October 2024.
The data obtained by Trend reports from the Uzbekistan Statistics Agency shows that this figure grew by 44.9 percent compared to the same period in 2023 ($501.4 million).
This growth has put the US in the big leagues as one of Uzbekistan's top 10 trading partners.
Uzbekistan's exports to the US amounted to $260.8 million, a dramatic 117.7 percent increase from $119.8 million recorded in 10 months of 2023.
Meanwhile, imports from the US hit $466.2 million, up 22.1 percent from $381.6 million in 10 months of last year.
To note, Uzbekistan's total trade volume for the 10 months of 2024 equaled $54.3 billion, up 6.7 percent from $50.9 billion during the same period last year.
