TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, December 13. Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover with the UAE reached $526.1 million from January through October this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the Statistics Agency shows that this adds up to 2.1 percent more compared to the same period last year ($515.1 million from January through October 2023).
The UAE was among the top 20 trade partners of Uzbekistan during the mentioned period.
Uzbekistan's exports to the UAE totaled $204.8 million, which is 0.49 percent less compared to last year ($205.8 million from January through October 2023).
However, Uzbekistan's imports from the UAE reached $321.3 million from January through October 2024. This figure represents a jump of 3.8 percent when stacked against the same period last year ($309.3 million from January through October 2023).
To note, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $54.3 billion in the period from January through October this year. This indicator increased by 6.7 percent compared to last year ($50.9 billion from January through October 2023).
