Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili conferred with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani in Baghdad on Tuesday, IRNA reported.
After meeting with Chairman of Iraq Supreme Islamic Council Seyed Ammar al-Hakim on Tuesday afternoon, Jalili met President Talabani in Presidential Palace and discussed with him bilateral, regional and international issues.
Secretary of Supreme National Security Council, who arrived in Baghdad on Monday evening to attend talks between Iran and Group 5+1, had met with Premier al-Maleki on Tuesday afternoon, too.
He also met with Iraq premier advisor in energy affairs Hussein Shahrestani.
Representatives from Iran and Group 5+1 are to negotiate in Baghdad on Wednesday and Thursday.
