Gallup International published the results of exit-poll after the parliament elections in Armenia, News.am reported.
The representatives of the organization have been conducting exit-poll at the polling stations.
According to the exit-poll results, as of 6.00 p.m. the Republican Party of Armenia (headed by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan) is the leader with 44.44 percent.
Prosperous Armenia Party received 28.81 percent of the votes.
Opposition Armenian National Congress is third with 6.33 percent of votes.
Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law) received 6.16 percent of votes.
Heritage party received 5.92 percent of votes.
Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun received 5.18 percent.
Earlier Armenian News-NEWS.am had reported that Gallup International was to conduct an exit-poll at 131 polling stations.
There are 1,982 polling stations in Armenia.
Eight political parties and one block have presented their nominations - Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, opposition Armenian National Congress, opposition Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party.
For entering a 131-seat National Assembly, parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocks - over 7%.
