A magnitude 5.7 earthquake shook the southern coastline of Indonesia's Sumatra island Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, reported CNN.
The moderate quake hit at 10:53 a.m. local time (11:53 p.m. ET) about 87 miles (40 km) northwest of Bengkulu, or about 336 miles (541 km) south-southwest of Singapore.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
