(showbizspy.com) - Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale are parents again after the Cool singer gave birth to a baby boy in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Little Zuma Nesta Rock was born by C-section at Cedars Sinai Medical Center just after noon.
" Kingston, Gwen and Gavin Rossdale welcomed the newest member of their family," Stefani's rep said in a statement. "Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy."
Zuma, who was born at 12:46 p.m. PST, weighed in at 8 1/2 pounds.
The couple announced in January that they were expecting their second child - and decided not to learn the sex of the baby before it's born.
Rossdale recently told Britain's OK! magazine, "We don't know if it's a boy or a girl. Plus we are going to put him in a black room. It'll be a goth baby so it doesn't matter if it is a boy or a girl."
"It's terrifying and exciting and brilliant," he said of parenthood.
Stefani has long said she wants to give their son, Kingston -- who turned two in May this year -- a sib.
"I'm in a race to have another," she told InStyle in 2007. "I can't wait to get pregnant again. It's so fun and consuming and romantic."
Of motherhood, she said, "I definitely don't get enough sleep, but I'd rather spend time with him. I've got this extra-fun, amazing, little guy who just wants to hang out with me."
Stefani, 38, and Bush rocker Rossdale, 40, wed in 2002.
