The man who was attacked Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz on Monday, is a boxer, Anatolia news agency reported.
Local teacher of physical culture suddenly jumped at Yildiz, who participated in Kayseri in the funeral of an officer who was killed in a clash with Kurdish separatists. Yildiz's nose was broken.
Wounded minister in a serious condition was taken to hospital.
The attacker and another three people were immediately taken into police. The investigation is underway.
