A man, who attacked Turkish energy minister on Monday and punched him in the face, is a boxer and a trainer, security officials said, Anadolu Agency reported.
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz suffered a broken nose from the attack while attending a funeral ceremony in the central province of Kayseri of a Turkish soldier who lost his life in a military hospital after getting heavily wounded in an ambush by terrorists in southeast Turkey.
Security officials said the attacker also trained a school team in Kayseri.
