BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 29. A total of 44 companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Türkiye from January through September 2024, which is 7 companies less than in the same period of 2023, Trend reports via the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).
"The total capital of Turkmen companies registered in Türkiye was 25.1 million Turkish Liras ($732,1) in the reporting period, compared to 24.6 million Turkish Liras ($717,6) in the same period of 2023," the union said.
The agency also highlighted that during the reported period, the majority of Turkmen companies (43) were registered in Istanbul.
"The total capital of Turkmen companies registered in Istanbul amounted to 23.6 million Turkish Liras ($688, 3)," the TOBB statement reads.
Among the companies, 19 trading companies with Turkmen capital were registered in Türkiye during the first nine months of 2024. The other companies span various sectors of the economy.
