The Turkmen ministry of education holds active talks on establishment of a branch of Columbia university (USA) upon Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov's order, Turkmen trade-industrial chamber said about holding the international exhibition-conference on science and education in Ashgabat from September 9-11.
Organizers include the Turkmen ministry of education, supreme council on science and technique under the Turkmen President and the Turkmen trade-industrial chamber.
Majot trends of the exhibition include computers, advanced computer technology, modern means of education, interactive and other equipment, methodical literature, training manuals and equipment, educational training programs, printing, achievements and innovation of publishing industry.
Over 60 well-known companies from 30 countries, including Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, China, Korea, Japan, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and others gathered at a similar meeting in 2008.
These companies are the world's largest producers of computer technology, interactive and other equipment, leading distributors and providers. Old and potential partners of interested in establishing business contacts for a long-term basis submitted their potentialities and proposals on cooperation.
Numerous of well-known companies delivered thier achievements, proposals and know-how, particularly in computer, multimedia and information technologies, printing industry and telecommunications, manufacturing and school, laboratory, as well as sports equipment in the halls of the exhibition center. These companies include Lenovo (China), HP (USA), Hitachi (Japan), Quasar-Micro, Krok, Informnauka OJSC (Russia), Promethean (UK), Sanako (Finland) NGO EL Holding (Uzbekistan), as well as a number of Turkish firms - TEA, Gonzha, Surat, Kaynak and others.
