President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today attended the opening of a Hajigabul-Sabirabad section of the remodelled Hajigabul-Bahramtapa highway.
The Head of State viewed photos reflecting a scheme of the highway, as well as previous and current look of the facility.
Transport minister Ziya Mammadov informed the President about the reconstruction project of the Hajigabul-Bahramtapa highway.
The two-lane Hajigabul-Sabirabad section of the road is 50 km in length, and 15 meters in width.
President Ilham Aliyev was also informed about a 62,5km-long Sabirabad-Bahramtapa section of the highway. The construction and installation of the section cost 110.06 million manats. The construction and installation work of the Hajigabul-Sabirabad part of the highway will end in May, 2014.
