On November 2, the President of Azerbaijan received the Vice President of BP Andrew Inglis, in Baku, Trend reports.
The guest mentioned the sustainable development of the oil industry and economic sector of Azerbaijan as well as large successes. Speaking about the beginning of the oil production in the field of East Azerbaijan, Inglis called it a serious success. He added that the successful co-operation between Azerbaijan and BP will continue in the future.
Aliyev Said that Azerbaijan has made achievements in the fuel and energy sector within a short period. He assessed increasing gas production in the fields of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli as an important event. The State Head highly assessed the works carried out in Shah-Deniz field and justified it as a result of the successful work with the foreign companies, including BP.
