BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. Azerbaijan develops a model for post-crisis and post-conflict countries, Deputy Head of the Staff of the State Committee for Urban Development and Architecture, Gulshan Rzayeva, said at the event on peaceful climate action within the framework of WUF13, Trend reports.

According to her, Azerbaijan has significant experience in the restoration and reconstruction of Karabakh and East Zangezur territories.

She noted that the reconstruction is being carried out in a broad and systematic manner.

"Azerbaijan is developing a model for post-crisis and post-conflict countries. This reconstruction process involves not only the restoration of buildings, but also the reconstruction of cities, societies, and people's lives, and as a result, increases the overall strength of the region," the official added.

The third day of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) is underway in Baku.

On the first day, a ministerial meeting dedicated to the New Urban Agenda, a roundtable of ministers, assemblies of women and civil society, business sessions, and discussions on urban well-being were held.
