BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has made a decision to approve a list of services provided to exporters and investors by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Trend reports.
The list includes:
- conducting international trade data research based on requests from business entities and providing them with information about potential export markets;
- providing business entities with information on the rules for importing products (services) of Azerbaijani origin exported from Azerbaijan to the destination country, upon request;
- granting the right to use trademarks owned by AZPROMO;
- organizing interaction between legal and physical entities and representatives of government bodies (institutions) of Azerbaijan on issues related to the investment and export activities of investors and exporters.
AZPROMO was founded in 2003 by the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan to facilitate foreign investment in the non-oil industry and promote exports of non-oil products. The agency's primary objective is to enhance the nation's economy by soliciting international investment and fostering exports in the non-oil sector. To date, the agency has conducted 33 export trips to international destinations under the "Made in Azerbaijan" initiative.
