BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 7. The “Made in Azerbaijan” brand, established to promote Azerbaijani products abroad, is set for further development, said Sevil Yahyayeva, Advisor to the Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), Trend reports.
In her speech at the seminar on “Development and Global Integration of the Textile Sector,” Yahyayeva noted that the implementation of relevant regulations and mechanisms has been entrusted to AZPROMO.
“The main goal of these mechanisms is to facilitate companies’ access to priority markets. One such mechanism is the export and buyer mechanism, which helps entrepreneurs find partners in foreign markets,” she explained.
She also highlighted the participation mechanism for international exhibitions, noting that Azerbaijan participates in various international fairs with a unified country pavilion. Entrepreneurs looking to bring Azerbaijani products to foreign markets join these exhibitions through AZPROMO, gaining exposure and business opportunities.
AZPROMO was founded in 2003 by the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan to facilitate foreign investment in the non-oil industry and promote exports of non-oil products. The agency's primary objective is to enhance the nation's economy by soliciting international investment and fostering exports in the non-oil sector. To date, the agency has conducted 33 export trips to international destinations under the "Made in Azerbaijan" initiative.
