BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 21.​ The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the Azerbaijan Chamber of Appraisers have discussed reducing banking risks and improving the quality of appraisals in the country, Trend reports via the CBA.

The Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Toghrul Aliyev, held a meeting with the leadership of the Chamber of Appraisers.

During the discussions, key topics included the enhancement of the legal and regulatory framework governing appraisal activities, the implementation of standards in line with the "International Valuation Standards 2025," and the incorporation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into the valuation of collateral and assets.

Additional points of discussion encompassed the development of electronic platforms and analytical systems, the mitigation of banking risks, and the improvement of appraisal quality.
