Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 May / Trend / Under the special program of the Azerbaijani Airline (AZAL), it is planning to purchase modern aircrafts, helicopters and other equipment to 2013, Sabir Ilyasov, First Vice-President of AZAL company, stated in the official interview.
It is planning to purchase Boeing - 737, Boeing - 787, Boeing - 767, as well as helicopters Sikorski and Mi- 172.
AZAL will purchase aircrafts manufactured especially for business-environment at the expense of additional resources.
Currently, the project work to construct the additional take-off and landing strips for Airbus A-390 is being held. All the necessary work in this direction has been held actively.
There has been taken work to construct and modernize airports within the framework of the social-economic development in Shaki, Zagatala, Lankaran and other regions of the country.
