Kyrgyzstan intends to talk Uzbek authorities into leaving the gas price unchanged - $145 per 1000m3, the newly appointed minister of industry, energy and fuel resources Ilias Davydov said at the parliament session of Kyrgyz social democrats Tuesday.
The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Igor Chudinov is expected to send relevant documents to Uzbekistan today, reported 24.kg
"During the recent talks Uzbekistan offered us rather tough terms of gas purchasing - $300 per 1000m3. And the decree is to be signed until December 18, otherwise Uzbekistan will channel gas to Russia," the minister noted.
