The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers introduced this week amendments to the rules on organizing and holding sweepstakes.
Based on the amendments, authorized employees of the State Securities Committee have the right to monitor sites engaged in organizing sweepstakes.
Regulations must be met while implementing sweepstakes. If the site fails to fulfill the necessary provisions, its owner will be sued and operations will be terminated.
The amendments came into force March 17.
