Iran's steel industry needs a roadmap, the CEO of Hormozgan Steel company (HOSCO) Farzad Arzani said, while speaking at a panel of the First National Conference of Steel Casting, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"We have no particular problem regarding the manufacturing sector in the country right now," he said. “We have no problems regarding steel, including the casting sector. The country has enough of good companies."
“What matters and needs to be strengthened is the acquisition of knowledge and technology of steel,” he added.
Arzani said that knowledge-based companies must come together and help boost develop technology in the steel sector.
