UzAuto Motors has warned that due to the coronavirus epidemic, the delivery of Chevrolet Equinox to Uzbekistan may be delayed, Trend reports citing UzAuto Motors company’s press service.
Due to this emergency, the delivery of Equinox vehicles may be delayed until the epidemic situation in the region changes, the report says.
According to the information, all buyers who have paid for the contract for the purchase of Chevrolet Equinox and do not want to wait for the resumption of deliveries, can receive the money back. It is also possible to replace the contract for the purchase of any other car.
The company apologized for the temporary inconvenience and hoped for customer understanding.
Previously, from February 4 through February 6, approximately 600 people, flew to Tashkent from Wuhan and Beijing by two charter flights. They all will be accommodated in specialized medical facilities in Tashkent and Tashkent region, where they will be kept under supervision for the entire period of quarantine - 14 days.
The outbreak in the Chinese city of Wuhan - which is an international transport hub - began at a fish market in late December 2019. Since then over 560 people have died and over 28,000 people have been confirmed as infected.
No symptoms of coronavirus have been registered in Uzbekistan as of February 6. The country is taking all necessary measures to prevent the infection's spreading. In particular, sanitary-epidemiological and migration control has been strengthened at air, road and railroad facilities. Air travel with China has been temporarily suspended.
