The first oil from the Pearl fields will be produced in 2016, president of the KazMunayTeniz Marine Oil Company, Yermek Marabayev said at the briefing on Sept. 23.
According to our most optimistic forecasts, the first oil from the Pearl structures will be produced in 2016, Marabayev told Trend .
Pearl is the "first swallow" of the five projects on the shelf, which yielded positive results from three wells.
KazMunayTeniz is realizing this project together with Shell and OmanOyl.
