The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) exported about 939,300 tons of oil products from its own refineries in January-August compared to about 1.3 million tons at the same period of 2010, SOCAR said.
SOCAR exported 127,900 tons of oil products in August compared to over 184,500 tons at the same period of 2010.
The country produces oil products at two Baku refineries with a total capacity of 20 million tons of oil per year. Both refineries belong to SOCAR, which annually processes approximately 7 million tons of oil from the Azerbaijani offshore and onshore fields.
