The production of liquefied gas by the office for the production of liquefied gas of the Lebap region of Turkmenistan increased by 6.8 percent in 1H2021, compared to the same period in 2020, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.
The production of gas condensate amounted to about 36,600 tons. The growth compared to the same period last year is 39.5 percent.
Turkmenistan produced about 48.7 billion cubic meters of natural and associated gas from January through July 2021, which is 9 billion cubic meters more than in the same period last year.
In the reporting period, about 27 billion cubic meters of natural gas have been exported, which is 7.3 billion cubic meters more than from January through July 2020. Most of the exports were sent to China.
