Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / Aflatun Sharifov was appointed the new Director General of the Teleradio Production Association by order of the Azerbaijan Communications and Information Technology Ministry, Ali Abbasov on 19 September.
The function of Teleradio is to broadcast state, private, and foreign radio and television programs and the operation of technical issues in this sphere.
The previous head of Teleradio, Ilham Ahadov, was dismissed due to his appointment to another post.
Aflatun Sharifov, 51 was born in Baku City. He worked as an engineer and electric mechanic in Teleradio. From August 2005 until now he was the deputy head of Teleradio.
