National processing center of Uzbekistan UzCard together with the Russian BPC Group has developed an automated payment system for public transport, the UzCard press service announced.
The system is based on the STS (Smart Ticketing Solution) software and hardware complex using the ABT technology (Account Based Ticketing). ABT is a modern payment system for public transport built around personal user accounts.
All payment information is stored on a central server. The system allows using all modern bank cards (UzCard, VISA, MasterCard, UPI, MIR) and integrates with the UzCard processing center.

The company has many years of experience in the field of integration of automated public transport payment solutions. The central Transport and Card Platform developed jointly with Sberbank covers over 20 cities of Russia.
