ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, February 1. The 'Kerki' bread-baking enterprise in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan, has more than doubled the plan for the manufacturing of bread and bakery products for the whole of 2023, Trend reports.
During this period, the factory manufactured 6,321 tons of bread and bakery products, which is 2.2 times or 3,551 tons more than planned.
In value terms, during the specified period, the enterprise manufactured products worth over 11.7 million Turkmen manat ($3.04 million).
Meanwhile, in recent years, Turkmenistan has witnessed the rapid development of the bakery industry, supported by an active state policy to improve the agricultural sector.
The introduction of modern technologies and the improvement of infrastructure contribute to an increase in production capacity, improve product quality and expand the range of bakery products.
