TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 8. Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover with Belarus amounted to $507.2 million from January through September of this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Statistics Agency shows that this is 12.8 percent more compared to the same period last year ($449.5 million from January through September 2023).
Belarus ranked as one of the 15 largest trade partners of Uzbekistan over the period.
Uzbekistan's exports to Belarus totaled $119.7 million, which is 17.9 percent more year-on-year ($101.5 million from January through September 2023).
However, Uzbekistan's imports from Belarus reached $387.5 million from January through September 2024. This figure increased by 11.3 percent compared to the same period last year ($348 million from January through September 2023).
To note, the volume of Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $48.2 billion in the period from January through September 2024. This indicator increased by 7.7 percent year-on-year ($44.7 billion in January-September 2023).
