Iran and Georgia signed an economic cooperation agreement yesterday, the website ILNA reported.
The head of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce Industries and Mines (ICCIM), Mohammad Nahavandian, said that the two countries will trade food products and medication, work to expand tourism and cooperate on the issues ranging from transportation to banking and agriculture under the agreement.
The ICCIM head invited Iranian businesses to invest in Georgia.
Iran and Georgia have a history of trade. Iran exports electricity to Georgia.
