Georgian authorities are implementing all possible measures to ensure a continued international presence in the conflict zones, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said after his meeting withEuropean Commissionerfor ExternalRelationsandEuropean Neighborhood PolicyBenita Ferrero Waldner.
"The conflict zones cannot be left without international monitors due to the tension with Russian troops and their open aggression," Vashadze said. "Georgia is speaking with the EU and OSCE to secure international monitors."
