Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze called the country's citizens in Syria to return their homeland.

Around 22 women are in Damascus, who are engaged in business there, the minister said on Saturday.

"We have a permanent contact with our citizens and offer them a way out of Syria," she said.
Georgian Foreign Minister said that a safe departure route from Syria through Libya and then from Egypt has already been worked out.

"Our diplomatic representation in Egypt has prepared everything for receiving the citizens and their subsequent leaving for Georgia," she said.
