Lindsay Lohan will serve as a janitor at the Los Angeles morgue as part of the 480 hours of community service imposed on her Friday for probation violations, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday.
The Mean Girls actress with a well known penchant for designer clothes and expensive jewelry was sentenced to the service hours after a judge found probable cause Friday to move forward on charges that she stole a necklace worth 2,500 dollars earlier this year from a Los Angeles jewelry store, dpa reported.
Lohan, 24, was also sentenced to serve 120 days in jail for the probation violation, though she was released after just five hours following an appeal by her lawyer.
According to the report Lohan will serve 120 hours as a janitor at the Los Angeles coroner's office and an additional 360 hours at a homeless women's centre. She will start her service this week.
