A Chinese citizen was detained in Azerbaijan while trying to smuggle more than $29,000 from the country.
Chinese citizen Sheng Peidan was detained at customs control at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. He supposed to flight to China with the Baku-Urumqi flight. The aiprort's employees found $29,100 while inspection of his hand baggage, the State Customs Committee told Trend.
An investigation was launched into the case.
