Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov has been invited to pay an official visit to Armenia at "any time convenient," the Turkmen government reported.
The offer was accepted with gratitude, the government said. The date of the visit will be coordinated through diplomatic channels.
According to the information, the offer was made during Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's recent visit to Ashgabat, during which agreements were signed in the humanitarian, trade and economic spheres.
Turkmenistan and Armenia expressed an interest in cooperation in engineering, pharmaceutics, electronics, agriculture, food processing and transport during the talks in Ashbagat.
